Board of Directors

As a co-operative, Beltway Montessori Children's House relies on parents who have a commitment to our school and to the Montessori philosophy. Ultimately, you can participate as much as you can be involved. Part of what makes the Co-op successful is not the quantity of involvement but that each member fulfills what they sign up for. Each family is required to commit to volunteering 8 hours per month to help our school function effectively.

 

 

 

Our program is managed by an elected Board of Directors consisting of parents. In addition to attending monthly parent meetings to discuss program news and business, parents are strongly encouraged to take shifts as an onsite parent during the school day when needed. There are many other volunteer opportunities available as well including classroom coordination, marketing, organizing special events, and fundraising.

 

By working together, we keep tuition low and enthusiasm high.
