Parent-run cooperative model

Beltway Montessori Children’s House (BMCH) is a parent-run homeschool co-operative and tutorial service employing an AMI accredited Montessori Primary and an experienced elementary teacher to provide homeschool drop-in tutoring for children ages 5-12 using the Montessori method. The drop-in tutorial is designed to supplement a child’s homeschool education by providing individual instruction, project based learning, social-emotional learning, and a community of other homeschoolers to socialize and explore the world with.

We also offer individual Montessori primary tutoring to parents and children ages 3-4.  The private tutoring environment allows the tutor to focus on critical skills of independent learning with the youngest children, and provides parents with the tools to continue the learning in a Montessori environment at home.

Our program was founded in 2019 by a group of parents who shared the Montessori philosophy and wanted affordable quality education for our children.

Please review our new tutorial application and use the contact form to schedule an interview and virtual tour with our Primary Education Program Director and Admissions Director.

BMCH will expand to provide accredited Montessori Elementary instruction for the 2022 school year, and we are currently accepting applications for a Lead Elementary teacher or current intern in preparation for the new program. Please view our employment page for details.

We are accepting donations for additional Montessori materials and equipment at PayPal.Me/bmchpay  Thank you for your generosity!
